sarnia-parkThe County of Lambton, of which Sarnia is the principal city, is bounded on the North and West by the crystal blue waters of Lake Huron and the St. Clair River. Hence, the name, “Bluewater County”.

It is a community with a total county population of approximately 130,000. The primary industry is petrochemical, with production and distribution on a worldwide scale and the secondarily, agriculture with beans, corn and grains flourishing in Lambton’s loamy soils.

Both bodies of water are within the Sarnia city limits and offering spectacular views and world class boating. In addition, there are a large number of inland, parks with a wide array of recreational opportunities. The area boasts excellent educational facilities at the primary, secondary and community college levels. Sarnia is just one hour away from colleges and universities in London, Windsor and Detroit.
